dollyllama > July 1st, 2008: Let's see, it's dusk, I am too far away from my subject, my long lens is limited to 5.6 and there are 7 cats either chasing my subject or putting their fluffy tails in front of the lens. Yep, sounds about right to take a picture of a freaking bird so fast it gives bees whiplash. Ah well, maybe when I can try it during actual daylight it'll be better.

dollyllama > This is a huge (about 9" across) dried up mushroom top. I liked the texture and patterns in it.
dollyllama > I took +350 photos today, I took some great shots. This is an ok shot but it's one I'll never get again. I didn't have my long lens on the camera and there was no time to put it on. I got bitten up by mosquitoes and cut by saw grass and nettle. I stepped in a bog and had to drive home with a foot caked in mud for this shot, so this is today's picture!

dollyllama > Today wasn't a great day. I woke up to find one of my cats killed by a car :(((( I went to a fair with my brother and sis-in-law, they fought a lot, but it was a fun time anyway. Got home and was so tired, but bro and sis-in-law came over to pick up some chairs I got for them and started to watch "The Three Amigos" on tv. Someone please gouge my eyes out. Then, as they were leaving I wanted to be sure no cats would be run over and as I bent down I smashed my face into the tow hitch on my brother's truck. I have no ice because my ice maker isn't hooked up so by tomorrow the red spot on my chin will be purple and black. But I got a T-shirt at the fair. If I lived in a trailer park all this would seem normal.
dollyllama > Double Gerbera(?) daisy, on loan from Jimmy Walker's Greenhouse (actually I'm doing a "commissioned" work of the double daisies that he seems to have in abundance). I'd never seen one before and he has about 6 or seven plants with doubles.
